ITINERARY

DAY 01

Bagdogra to Phuentsholing

Your Bhutan adventure begins with a scenic drive from Bagdogra to Phuentsholing. Enjoy the changing landscapes and picturesque views en route.

On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Spend the evening at leisure exploring the local surroundings.

Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

DAY 02

Phuentsholing to Thimphu

After breakfast, complete the immigration formalities and proceed towards Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan.

En route visit Kharbandi Gompa and Milarepa Lhakhang. Enjoy the spectacular mountain views and countryside drive towards Thimphu.

En route, enjoy views of Chukha Dam and a photo stop at Wankha Waterfalls. On arrival, check in to your hotel.

Overnight stay in Thimphu.

DAY 03

Thimphu – Dochula – Punakha – Thimphu (B)

After breakfast, drive to Dochula Pass at approximately 3,150 metres and enjoy the enchanting mountain views.

Continue towards Punakha and visit Chimmi Lhakhang, Pho Chhu & Mo Chhu River, Punakha Dzong and the Suspension Bridge.

Return to Thimphu after sightseeing.

Overnight stay in Thimphu.

DAY 04

Thimphu sightseeing and transfer to Paro (B)

After breakfast, proceed for Thimphu sightseeing covering Handicraft Emporium, Simply Bhutan, Memorial Chorten, Buddha Point and Takin Reserve Centre.

Later drive from Thimphu to Paro through scenic countryside and along the Wangchu River.

Continue towards Paro via Chuzom and Tachogang Temple. On arrival, check in to your hotel.

Overnight stay in Paro.

DAY 05

Paro Tiger’s Nest Trekking (B)

After breakfast, proceed for the highlight of your Bhutan tour — the hike to the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery, also known as Taktsang.

The monastery is situated approximately 3,120 metres above sea level and is perched dramatically on a cliff.

After the trek, visit Paro Dzong and the National Museum of Bhutan.

Overnight stay in Paro.

DAY 06

Paro sightseeing and Phuentsholing transfer (B)

After breakfast, proceed for Paro sightseeing covering Nya Mey Zam Bridge, Rinpung Dzong, National Museum, Kyichu Lhakhang and Tiger's Nest viewpoint.

After sightseeing, drive back towards Phuentsholing.

On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Evening free for shopping and leisure.
